Gold on White Delicate Detailed Nail Art

gold-on-whiteI had the hardest time figuring out what to do for this challenge prompt. I knew after the last several manicures, it needed to be an easier look to complete or, at least one that didn’t take two hours to do. I also was rebelling against using an opaque white. It just seemed too strong, too wedding-like or blinged-out club look, paired with gold and it wasn’t what I was feeling this evening. So, instead of a opaque white, I opted for a sheer white and topped with the gold, it’s perfect. The effect is soft and feminine. I’m loving it.

I guess i just don’t go for the strong, loud colors most of the time. The neutral, goes-with-everything look is for me. This is elegant, understated, with just enough “fluff” to be a beautiful everyday look.
