Plum Love

I needed to come up with a “heart” design for the ClaireStelle8May prompt for the 1st but it couldn’t be bright and funky because I had an important meeting with professionals the next day. It had to be office appropriate – so, after perusing the neutral section of my nail polish shelf, here’s what I came up with:
Plum paint with a stamped heart.

This color worked great because it is so neutral, it goes with almost my entire wardrobe. It’s almost more brown than it is plum – but there is just too much purple in the mix to be a true brown. The accent nail was just a lighter shade in the same color family with the darker color stamped on top. No glitter, no pizzazz, no fuss. Just a clean, basic, professional look I can use for a few days. I love looks like this that are easy and classy at the same time.
