Pink Hawaiian Flowers

Things have not been going well with my nail adventures lately. I suspect it has something to do with the weather we’ve been having this week – it’s been stormy and wet every single day – and it’s been a frustrating go. Polish won’t dry. Stamps are not working. Topcoats are smearing everything and not curing. Colors aren’t coming together. I really don’t get it.

The story of how this look happened is multi-faceted. First, I’ve missed two prompts with the #ClaireStelle8May challenge – the #Pastels and #SpringFlowers. (Believe me, I tried, but it just wasn’t going to happen.) Secondly, there was to be a Hawaiian party at work on Friday to kick-off our three day weekend. 🙂 Can you see where this is going? I did all three things in one simple (because complicated just isn’t working right now) manicure!

Hawaiian

I know it’s not the typical crazy, bright colors found in a Hawaiian shirt but it works for my subdued personality. A neutral pastel pink base with white Hibiscus flower stamp as an accent. Simple, understated, yet distinctly spring-y, floral and Hawaiian. 🙂 It works!
